Canmore is located in the south-western part of Alberta, in a wonderful valley, nestled in the Canadian Rocky Mountains, only five minutes away from the Banff National Park and 15 minutes to Banff townsite. We are 1.5 hours away from Calgary International Airport, Highway #1 West. The Banff-Canmore area, also called Bow Valley, is named after the Bow River. The altitude of Canmore is 1,322 metres or 4,029 feet.
